Board of Directors
Northwest Pilot Project relies on the combined skills and talents of board members for fund-raising, planning, development, policymaking, and fiscal/legal management. We are please to have these dedicated individuals on our board of directors.
A.C. Caldwell is a pastor at Journey Catholic Community and holds a Masters of Divinity. A.C. worked at NWPP as a Housing Specialist for five years and a long time supporter. She is currently volunteering with Loaves & Fishes and Hospice.
Tim Casebeer holds a BA in Music Performance and was Willamette Week's chief music critic for 5 years. He transitioned from that career to working in staffing and recruiting Physicians for Kaiser Permanente. He most recently was the Volunteer Services Coordinator for Kaiser.
Joseph Ceniceros is a retired judge who continues to provide judicial services on an intermittent basis for the State of Oregon. He is an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Joseph has been involved in several non-profits and served on the Board of Directors of the Morrison Center and Janus Youth Programs.
Jordan Elliott is the Head of the Upper School at Oregon Episcopal School. He has an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and an MBA. He also teaches at OES.
Susan Glen is a partner in the law firm Dunn Carney Allen Higgins and Tongue. She has practiced law since 1994. Her primary area of expertise is commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, development, financing and loan workouts. Before entering law school, she completed coursework for a Masters of Regional Planning degree and worked at a regional planning commission in sourthern New Hampshire. Susan is the past president of the Portland chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and is active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Commercial Association of Realtors (CAR) and other real estate industry organizations.
Kathy Haines has over 13 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and business consulting. She currently works as a senior audit manager for Geffen Mesher & Company, P.C., where she enjoys working with clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, professional services and employee benefit plans. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running, and volunteering. She is an active member of her church and a local Toastmasters group. Current Board Treasurer
Charles Hill, Jr. is the Director of Acquisition Management for the Forest Service, Northwest Region. He has extensive experience in different parts of the country with the Forest Service in facilities and asset management, contract management, supply acquisition and grant partnerships managements. Charles has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a MBA pending.
Nathan LeRud is a pastor at Trinity Episcopal Church. He is interested in the partnership between Trinity and NWPP and would like to see partnerships develop with others in the community. He also has experience in Program Development and Human Services.
Kimberly Metcalf is the manager of the Web Management Organization at Portland General Electric. Her group has responsibility for strategy, analytics, usability, standards governance, and implementation of sponsored projects related to their customer-facing web sites. She also has more than 15 years of Information Technology experience, having previously served as a supervisor in the IT application support areas for Web and Distribution, as well as in project manager, lead, and analyst roles for Finance, HR, and Sales & Service groups. Prior to joining PGE in 1999 as a project manager, Metcalf worked at Nationwide Insurance for 14 years, serving in various capacities. Metcalf earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2004, and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Idaho and a Master's degree in business from Marylhurst University.
Dale Latham has served several terms on the Board of NWPP during the last 20 years and has been active on the Development Committee. He has recently retired from a career in power contract management at Bonneville Power Administration. In addition to his interest in low income housing for seniors, Dale enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and traveling with his wfie, Marilyn and dog, Blue. Current Board Chairperson
Pat Squire is the Executive Director of the PSU Alumni Association and has a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She is very interested in advocacy and also has experience in Program Development and Marketing.
Merrill Weyerhaeuser is a clinical psychologist in private practice in northeast Portland. While training to be a therapist she worked as a qualitative study on "Stability of Housing after Periods of Homelessness" by interviewing people who had been helped in finding and/or maintaining housing through NWPP. Current Board Vice-Chairperson and Secretary.
