Our Board of Directors
Northwest Pilot Project relies on the combined skills and talents of board members for fund-raising, planning, development, policymaking, and fiscal/legal management. We are pleased to have these dedicated individuals on our board of directors.
Chris Blakney is a senior economist at M. He brings research, statistics, economics, policy and real estate skills to our Board.
A.C. Caldwell is a Hospice Chaplain and holds a Masters of Divinity. A.C. worked at NWPP as a Housing Specialist for five years and is a long time supporter. Current Board Chair
Steve Cox works in Community Affairs at PGE and has coordinated holiday giving to NWPP among PGE employees. He has extensive experience working with volunteers and on special events, and has non-profit Board experience. Steve has participated in NWPP's "Take a Senior to Lunch" program for over ten years. Current Secretary.
Kathy Haines is a senior Audit Manager and CPA for Gennen Mesher & Co. Current Treasurer.
Paul Iarrobino is a retired Program Manager with Multnomah County's Aging and Disability Services. He is a long time supporter of NWPP and believes strongly in the agency's mission and importance of our work. He brings experience in general management, program development, marketing, human services and facilitation to our board.
Salina Karia is a CPA at Geffen Mesher. She also has a background in general management and hospitality. She has done volunteer work with Meals-O -Wheels, Albertina Kerr and Childrens Relief Nursery.
Dale Latham is retired from Bonniville Power Administration and brings with him a history of working tirelessly for NWPP. He is a dedicated volunteers and a great asset to our Baord.
Shelley Marchesi is in charge of public affairs and ocmmunications for Home Forward. She brings program development and marketing skills to our Board.
Ann Middleton is a retired licensed clinical social worker in the Legacy system, with extensive experience in counseling and discharge planning. She has been involved with NWPP for twenty years as a volunteer and Board member. Current Board Vice-Chair.
Mark Reber is a marketing manager for Bullivant Houser Bailey.
Carmen Schleiger has returned to our Board after having served in the past. She is a retired architect and a long time supporter of NWPP. She has volunteered building homes for those who need them around the world. She has experience in general management, program development, human services and facilitation as well as affordabe housing development.
Mel Solis is a Shift Manager at Starbuck's. He brings a youthful perspective on affordable housing.
