NWPP operates with a lean budget. Ninety-six (96) cents of every dollar
we receive goes directly to our clients and programs, so your contribution
gets maximum results.
- $50 provides an ailing senior with prescription medication
for 1-3 months.
- $100 provides a dislocated senior with
new bedding and furniture.
- $500 pays
for rent assistance to prevent the eviction of a frail
senior experiencing a housing crisis.
- $1000 covers all application fees, deposits, moving costs for one
permanent housing placement for a homeless senior.

Matching Gifts
You may be able to double your contribution to NWPP by participating in your
employer's matching gift program. If your employer participates, ask for the

Here are some ways you can support our work helping low-income elderly
to live independently in safe affordable housing. NWPP's administrative
costs are very low, 4%, so you know your donation goes to help seniors.
General Donation
Northwest Pilot Project provides advocacy
and services to low income seniors living primarily in downtown Portland.
The central concern of NWPP is to help people direct their own lives and
to provide continuing support for their self-reliance. Services include
in-home care, transportation, case management, socialization activities
and volunteer services.
Emergency Fund
This fund goes directly to assist low income
seniors, homeless seniors or seniors at risk of homelessness
with a variety of emergency financial needs. Services include housing
application fees,
apartment deposits, moving expenses, furniture, bus tickets,
meal vouchers and medical expenses such as prescriptions, eye glasses,
dentures and emergency
care.
Access To The Arts
Buys tickets for low-income seniors to attend
arts events and performances.
Memorial Gift
Honoring the memory
of a loved one.
Gift of Hope
Make a donation in honor of a
friend, family member or business associate and give hope
to a senior in need.
