Volunteering at Northwest Pilot Project
"There is no better exercise for your heart, than reaching down and helping to lift someone up." - Bernard Meltze
Volunteers have been an essential part of NWPP since it was started in 1969. With the help of 200 plus volunteers we are able to continue helping low-income seniors live independent, happy lives. We have a variety of activities for volunteers.
There is something wonderfully rewarding in being part of an effort that does make a difference. When we take inventory of the meaning of our lives, these special experiences have to be among the high points. Happiness is caring. Make a difference in our community and join us.
NWPP has a variety of volunteer opportunities. One of our most
urgent needs is Tri-Met bus tickets.
