We want you to have fun while you raise money to support our work! That’s why we offer prizes to walkers, all paid for by our generous sponsors.
GRAND PRIZE
This sensational prize will be awarded to the individual who raises the most money in this walk-a-thon.
Individuals
In addition to the Grand Prize winner, prizes will be awarded to the TOP THREE INDIVIDUAL fund raisers in EACH of the following categories:
0-4 5-9 10-15 16-29 30-55 56-74 75-100
Teams
Prizes will be awarded to the TOP TWO TEAMS in each of the following categories:
General (all ages) High School Children (pre-high school)
Every member of the winning teams receives a prize envelope with gift certificates. Prizes include gift certificates to: Border’s Books, Hot Lips Pizza, Regal Cinemas, Finnegan’s, and more.
ONE LUCKY WALKER GETS AN iPAD2
Walk in our walk-a-thon and walk your way to an iPAD2. Raise $300 or more in pledges and your name will be put in the drawing for this great prize. Board Matches are not counted toward the $300. (Odds of winning based on 2011 Walk-a-thon odds are one in forty-nine.)
