Programs & Services
Housing: Northwest Pilot Project is a non-profit agency providing assistance in obtaining and maintaining permanent affordable rental housing to low-income seniors 55 years and older, who live in Multnomah County and are capable of independent living.
Information & Referral: Northwest Pilot Project provides information and referral assistance for those seeking services related to housing and other needs. We strive to provide easy access to our services and want to ensure those in need of housing assistance are connected to the appropriate resources. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of assistance at 503-227-5605.
Transportation: Transportation is provided for medical appointments, shopping and business. This program is for seniors 60 years and older and for people 55 years and older with disabilities. Riders must live in the following zip codes: 97201, 97204, 97205 and 97209. See Transportation Program page for more details.
Advocacy: NWPP's goal is to ensure every low-income senior in Multnomah County has a decent, affordable place to live. Since there are not enough available apartments to meet their housing needs and since the downtown Portland core is continually losing units while replacement units are not keeping pace, we advocate increasing the supply, affordability and accessibility of housing. See our Advocacy page for more information.
"Thank you, Northwest Pilot Project, for all your special efforts toward a livable community and making Portland better for everyone." US Representative Earl Blumenauer
