What We Do
“I don’t know what I would have done without the Long-term Rent Assistance program and Northwest Pilot Project.”

What Does Northwest Pilot Project Do?

We help connect low-income and very low-income seniors (55 and over) in Multnomah County who are capable of independent living with rental housing that is safe, permanent and affordable to them. We don’t own or manage housing. Instead, we leverage our 50 years of relationships with landlords, property managers, and community development partners to secure housing for those who are most vulnerable.

We have a staff of professional and experienced case managers and assessment specialists who help seniors at risk of losing their housing to find a more affordable place to live. We also assist individuals over 55 who are experiencing homelessness.

Each year, we help stabilize the housing of about 600 seniors.
