As the pandemic continues, it’s very clear to NWPP that low-income seniors with underlying chronic health conditions are at the highest risk for COVID-19, especially seniors who are part of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) communities. They are also at a high risk of losing their housing as the economy remains on-hold.

As we continue to navigate the changing landscape of housing, brought on by COVID-19, we are actively trying to protect low-income seniors from losing their housing and help them navigate the legislation in place to protect them from eviction.

Our Winter 2021 Newsletter focuses on the current housing crisis that is affecting low-income seniors in Multnomah County. We hope you enjoy reading it and look forward to your support in March when our annual fundraiser, NWPP’s 42nd Walk-A-Thon, kicks off!
